금강대학교 불교문화연구소는 한국연구재단의 인문한국지원사업의 일환으로 “불교 고전어 ․ 고전문헌의 연구를 통해 본 문화의 형성과 변용 및 수용과정 연구”라는 아젠다를 수행함에 있어 미술사·고고학 또는 박물관 학예 관련 사항을 맡아줄 수 있는 인재를 초빙하여 본 인문한국(HK)사업단 역사문화팀에서 기획하고 있는 ‘법화신앙도록’ 제작에 도움을 받고자 유능한 연구자를 초빙합니다.

2) 연구체재지에서 아무 지장 없이 활동할 수 있는 건강한 자.

【The Fellowship Invitation of HK Research Center of GCBS 】

Geumgang Center for Buddhist Studies now carries out the agenda of “The Research on the formation, change and acceptance of culture through studying classic language and documentary records of Buddhism” as a part of HK Project(Humanities Korea Project). Thus the Center has a plan to invite a foreign researcher who majors in art history, archeology or museology so that is able to give a support on the work of ‘Picture Book about the Lotus Belief’.

2. Eligibility
1) Scholastic attainment : Senior course; full-time lecturer or full-time researcher works in Korea or abroad
2) Other requirements:
(1) Applicants should stay in Korea during the fellowship period with GCBS as the primary work-place.
(2) Applicants should be healthy for research in Korea (travelers insurance required).
(3) Applicants should have no other job with regular payment within Korea during the fellowship period.
(4) Applicants who have been awarded fellowships from any Korean institutes or who have received a GCBS fellowship within the last three years are not eligible.

5. Duties of the Fellowship Recipient
The Fellowship Recipient should agree to the following conditions.
1) During stay within Korea, the recipient should submit monthly report to the director of the GCBS by the end of every month about his or her research progress or activities.
2) When the recipient publishes articles or books from research achievements by fellowship, he or she should submit 1 copy of them to the GCBS, always marking that the work was supported by the fellowship.
3) The Recipient should continue to stay within Korea for the fellowship period. For temporary leaving Korea due to research activities or other inevitable reasons, the recipient should inform the director of the GCBS at least 1 one week earlier before leaving.

6. Fellowship Grant
1) Monthly stipend: 2,000,000KRW
2) Dormitory room(User charging)
3) Research place
4) Airfare
(1) Economy-class round-trip airfare by shortest distance from home country to Korea with a Korean air company.
(2) Except the airfare, there will be no other support such as family members or other accompanying persons are not supported.
(3) Staying in Korea before or after the Fellowship the airfare will not be supported.
5) Expected date of appointment : Jan.1, 2015
6) The Period of Fellowship : 3 months from the appointment
7) Only accepted applicant will be informed individually. He/She should arrive in Korea on the date of January 1, 2015.

1) If there is no qualified applicant for the research field, the plan for the fellowship can be cancelled.
2) Only accepted applicant will be informed individually. The requirement documents will not be returned.
3) If there are false documents or other serious reasons for disqualification, the invitation can be cancelled.
